We moved into a new house (on the smallish side) five years ago. It has a shed, an old detached two-car garage, a basement. We put many boxes full of stuff we didn't need immediately in the outbuildings and basement. There were a lot of boxes.
We had some order as we stowed the boxes. But we never unpacked them all. So now they are just the Bermuda Triangle of possessions. Things went in and have never been seen again.
So we shoved them around looking for stuff we needed, and even bought replacement items when we couldn't find the stuff we wanted. Now we have a garage and a shed and a basement filled with boxes that I don't even know about anymore. Five years is a long time. I think I may die without seeing these things sorted out. Get me a dumpster and a backhoe, please! And my family members just shrug and eat another slice of pizza.
