The date that never happened

My mobile phone has been lost/stolen

At a party recently, I met the hottest, sweetest, lovely guy - the man of my dreams. We had a pash, exchanged numbers, and sent a few texts over the next few days. On the day he was going to call me to line up a date, I lost my phone, with all my numbers, and didn't get a lunch break at work for about a week so didn't buy another phone, and then when I did I bought it on the internet so it took a few more days, and obviously by then he'd given up, because I never heard from him again! Be this a lesson to you all - make sure you record numbers of people you like but don't know very well in more than one place! I still think we would have ended up married if I didn't lose that bloody phone.

I indeed keep a copy of my phonebook on my PC, who knows, I might lost my mobile phone too... Anyway... if he really cared so much about you, he should have found a way to meet you right?

It's not the point. But in a city of millions of people it probably would have been difficult. The party we were at was at a club and we didn't have any mutual friends. It was just a really bad hap. Oh well, better luck next time!
